Exterior
Project 6

This project; east of Seattle in a newer complex. Original landscape was not working well; either visually or physically. The lawn was holding water, plants were minimal and there was no visual appeal. The client requested all the be addressed as well as add additional sitting space, hot tub, privacy from the neighbors and a walk way from the lower yard to the upper.

A new sitting space is just off the green belt has a gas fireplace and adjacent hot tub. Plant materials including natives were added adding color, visual interest and will eventually blend the greenbelt and garden. Low volt lighting was added and a unique light creating "moonlight" was installed in a large maple tree that shines down on the new patio. Twelve foot high Thuja were brought in to create an instant privacy hedge along the one side of the yard.

The lawn area was re-graded and new top soil was brought in to address the wetness. New stone steps physically connect the upper garden and lower gardens.
